Puerto Vallarta's scene has been defined by its vibrant broadwalk since its establishement. Considered as the gathering venue, the broadwalk, popularly known as "El Malecón, is full of sculptures by renowned artists, art and craft galleries, shops and restaurants.

Enjoy shows and artistic functions in open air at the Los Arcos amphitheater and throughout this iconic boardwalk of almost a kilometer, delight yourself with restaurants of local and international cuisine that offer spectacular views of the Pacific. Much of the cultural and artistic scene takes place at the Cultural Center situated at the eastern end of the Cuale River Island. Events, art exhibitions, musical evenings, poetry and literature attract both visitors and locals.

Appart form being one of the most challenging climbs of the route, from the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint you can see an incredible panoramic view of the entire city, which is the perfect reward when you reach the top
